Riccardo Badalone

Riccardo Badalone is the Chief Executive Officer at C2RO. He joined C2RO in September of 2017, while the company was developing a patented parallel cloud processing platform. Since then Riccardo has transformed C2RO’s promising core technology into a successful enterprise machine vision solution.

This year, Riccardo and his team have been focused on the launch of a behavioural and demographic analysis platform called C2RO Perceive. C2RO Perceive works by anonymously capturing the customer journey, intent, and dwell-time via a novel cloud/edge infrastructure that delivers far superior accuracy compared to web-only video analysis. Among several practical use cases, the solution is disrupting a retail analytics industry that has previously used beacons and overhead door counters to improvise customer activity metrics.  In late 2018, with Riccardo at the helm, the company successfully launched C2RO Engage Facial Recognition with a resort in China that used C2RO’s real-time facial recognition to greet and personalize experiences for guests.

Before C2RO, Riccardo founded and led  Diablo Technologies and positioned the systems company to be at the forefront of Server Enterprise and Cloud revolutions, including ultra-high performance flash storage, and Software Defined Memory.   Diablo sold products across North America, Europe, and to the top OEM Server vendors in China. Riccardo helped establish partnerships with companies such as IBM, Inspur China, and SanDisk.
